    RAWAYA -The minister of Ports & Aviation and Irrigation & Water Management, Chamal Rajapaksa told Media today that actions will be taken to dismiss Nishantha Muthuhettigama either from the SLFP itself or from his post as the Akmeemana electorate organizer after a proper disciplinary inquiry.He said that the UPFA’s disciplinary committee will initiate an inquiry regarding this matter, and set a good example for others by taking proper action against the candidate.The committee is expected to consider the accusations against him and thereby to decide on the penalty that would suit him best, either dismissing him from the party or from the organizer post.The minister expressed hopes that action will be taken to protect the honour of the party, in-keeping with its policies.According to the minister the party has already decided to refrain from granting a ministerial post to anyone who engages in violent politics and breaks “party discipline.’’
