RAWAYA - The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) today alleged the Government of merely shifting nearly 30,000-35,000 IDPs from camps in Vavuniya to that of other transit camps in Jaffna and Trincomalee, under the guise of relocating them.TNA Leader R. Sampanthan said the IDPs should be sent back to areas where they used to live than shifting them from one camp to another.“We heard that nearly 30,000-35,000 IDPs from Vavuniya camps are shifted to other transit camps in Jaffna and Trincomalee,” Sampanthan told  today adding it is no solution to the issue. On September 7, the TNA met with President Rajapaksa for the first time since the country’s war was ended in May.The meeting that ended on a positive note saw the issue of speedy relocation of IDPs being discussed at length.Yet, the overall process of relocation remains “painfully slow” as of now, according to Sampanthan. And the matter is now scheduled to be discussed again during a meeting with President Rajapaksa’s Senior Advisor and Parliamentarian Basil Rajapaksa.“A meeting with Mr. Rajapaksa is very much on the cards, although I cannot say the exact date now,” Sampanthan added.

RAWAYA - General Sarath Fonseka is the   person who earn most  appreciation and received  highest dignity from the public in an unbelievable manner by following  historical war victory.  After defeating the LTTE General Fonseka had several plans on national security for the future and had requested for at least two to three years to implement such strategies. However, the President decided  to remove him as the Army Chief by appointing him  as the new Chief of Defence Staff. As soon as celebarating  war victory  Mahinda Rajapaksha commenced  unleash  attack on the JHU, who built an ideology backing the war against the LTTE,In publicaly he stressed to Campaka Ranawaka "people who opposed free to leave" subsequently Wimal weerawansa faced same destiny.  now treating same way   General Sarath Fonseka, who played a key role in the war, similar manner by removing him from the top post in the army. Now it is evidenced  the powers vested with the Chief of Defence Staff  has been curtailed in order to make it an ineffective post.  Further Fonseka’s staff and security has  already been slashed, the powers and perks promised to him have also not been offered to him. The gazette notification that gives effect to the posting had also not been made.

Astrologer Chandrasiri Bandara predicts that Mahinda Rajapaksa would not  be Sri Lankan President more as General Fonseka processes raja yoga in his horoscope.consequently he was interrogated by CID.A minister from the Gampaha District cited  with several confidants that Fonseka was removed as the Army Chief after the President found the Army Chief to have a Raja Yoga in his horoscope. The President’s decision to remove Fonseka from his post as Army Chief was prompted by the  reports from intelligence units received by the President that  the JVP and UNP was attempting to bring Fonseka as the common candidate of the opposition at the next presidential election. It is undispute fact that Sarath Fonseka from his post are doing the rounds in the political as well as the military circles.Another story It has been reported that the conspiracy has been launched against Fonseka since he is a man who does not condone corruption and fraud, as well straight leader which has posed a great obstacle to the politicians and officials engaged in such activities.Presently all government media intitutions have been received orders to conceal the General fonseka and to promote Colonel Gotabaya as a war heroic by focusing the  forthcoming general election which schedule  by following the  southern PCE.This is  further menifest by recently realeased video Sinhaya Oba - Tribute To  Gotabaya .We all have to say is General Fonseka is the lion king  who possess the gold sword.

RAWAYA - Anglican Bishop of Colombo Rev. de Chickera,is urged Rajapaksa government to allow media access to areas in the North and provide public updates on the work regarding resettlement of displaced persons. In addition he point out even IDP persons said to be released [from the internment camps in Vavuniyaa] are in fact being transferred to camps in different regions, this is misleading must stop. Extracts from the statement by the Bishop follow:"If the decision [to release persons in the camps] has been put on hold it must be reactivated. If the response of relatives has been slow, more time and wider publicity should be given. If persons said to be released are in fact being transferred to camps in different Regions, this is misleading and must stop. Reports of the lack of co-ordination amongst State Authorities are disappointing, and all those responsible for implementing this decision should be required to ensure co-ordination, compassion and speed."The decision to release, should however be clearly seen as an interim measure. The much more urgent task is to expedite the process of resettlement. Once the ‘home areas” of the Displaced are cleared of mines and the required infrastructure built, persons displaced, whether in the camps or with relatives, should be resettled in their original homes.

RAWAYA -Kumaran Pathmanathan's (KP) arrest, interrogation, and subsequent investigations have revealed Eritrea's involvement in aiding the Tamil Tigers.Eritrea is a African nation bordering Ethiopia, and has long been a safe haven for terrorist networks and pirates. Osama Bin Laden's Al Qaeda has been operating from the impoverished African nation for a decade, or more. With information obtained by Pathmanathan, Sri Lanka's intelligence agency has been preoccupied, of late, with destroying the Tigers' arms networks and financial networks overseas.12 Tamil Tiger (LTTE) aircraft have been located parked at the Eritrea airport. Sri Lanka hopes to open an embassy in Eritrea, and is also in talks with the Eritrean government in order to confiscate the planes. The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) were set to get 10 new aircraft through an Eritrea-based arms smuggling network as the war against the Sri Lankan army was reaching its climax. The aircraft had been dismantled and were to be shipped to the north-eastern coast of Sri Lanka when the war reached a decisive stage, a senior army officer told on condition of anonymity. ``The LTTE calculated that the war would stretch but it didn’t happen; the aircraft could not be delivered,’’ he said. The longest running internal military conflict in Asia came to an end on May 19.Sri Lanka is now looking at opening an embassy in Eritrea to counter LTTE’s international network, said to be still active. Information about the aircraft and the network was revealed by Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP, anointed LTTE chief days before his arrest.A US Senate Foreign Relations Committee report in December 2006 stated that the Eritrean government provided direct support to the LTTE.

The LTTE, according to news reports, had established a presence in Eritrea primarily to operate in the informal arms market. The army officer said while waiting for the aircraft to arrive, LTTE had got pilots trained from training schools in Malaysia and Indonesia. ``Trained instructors were also present here (in Sri Lanka). We recovered a pilot training simulator from the jungles of Mullaitivu. At least a dozen pilots had been trained. Two among them have been arrested. The rest could be hiding among the internally displaced persons (in refugee camps),’’ the officer said .The officer added they had also come across a conversation between KP and LTTE chief V Prabhakaran’s son, Charles Anthony two weeks before the war ended on May 19. It revealed that the LTTE were facing a shortage of rifles."Charles told KP to send more rifles. KP then asked Charles whether he was worried. "'No, I am not. Neither is father (Prabhakaran),'" Charles told KP," the officer said, adding that the LTTE leadership had pinned hoped on the US taking a side.Hundreds of satellite phones have been recovered in the continuing search operations by the SLA. "Besides satellite phones and advanced communication systems, we have recovered scores of radars, at least 10 152 mm guns and a dozen 130 mm guns," he said.
